Wonderful place. Quiet, great fishing, my family has fun every time we go there. Small park for the kids, Beautiful scenery. Friendly, nice, polite owners. Can't wait to go for another trip there!
Amazing resort for families!!!! Came with our daughter and nephew and they had a ball!!!! They seriously caught over 100 fish off the docks in 3 days! They loved it! Jumping off the docks were fun..... It was very relaxing :) the cottages were a great size :) everyone was super nice and friendly. Can't wait to book again next summer!
Had a great stay here, the staff was not intrusive I didn't have to interact with anyone. Offred great advice and where very helpful. felt at ease and comfortable Dock Slips where in great shape, no issues with docking my boat keep in mind thought that slips are rented seasonally. you have to mind other peoples boats. Appliances are in good shape and clean. I had everything I needed to enjoy my time there and would go back. fishing can be rewarding if you can put in the time and effort.
I have been up to Forbes many times and have always had a great time. Dwayne and Wanda are always great hosts. Cottages are always clean and well equipped. The fishing is Awesome with amazing scenery. GREAT VALUE!!!
Sept 18th just got back from here and all I can say is if you want to catch fish this is the spot! Cabins were clean and nice. Staff were super friendly very knowledgeable about fishing hot spots beautiful landscape! We went for muskie on the mind but came up short couldn't go out to the bay with a 20hp .. but we trolled around every island it felt like . Lost track of how many pike we caught and bass ,jumbo perch but I did catch the biggest Northern Pike I've ever caught. 45 inches 16.4lbs or so... we are coming back for sure !
I stayed here for a week during the summer of 2021. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere.The cottage was comfortable with all the everyday needs supplied, fabulous outdoor fireplace, and amazing views. The owners were friendly. I'd say it's a wonderful place to create family memories.
Been vacationing here with my family for 32 years. You can find your own favorite fishing hole. Take your family to a different island every day for a picnic. Cabins 6-10 your boat is steps from the front door. So much more to enjoy!!
We've enjoyed our stay at the Forbes holiday resort so far. Rustic cabin right on the water with all the amenities you should need for a cottage feel weekend. The owners are phenomenal and incredibly nice. Knowledgeable of the area with great suggestions.
